ChatGPT 活用例。

今回は、Longmanの英英辞書の定義を使えないか、入力用の文に加えてみました。スリーヒントクイズに例文もつけて、単語の意味を推測させる活動に使えます。生徒のレベルによって、知らないだろう単語に日本語のヒントをつけたり、選択肢をつけたりできます。

入力例

Make three-hint quizzes for the given words using the definitions from the Longman English Dictionary, along with sample sentences written in CEFR A1 level vocabulary: reduce, insignificant, sufficient, efficient.

ロングマン英英辞書の定義を使い、与えられた単語のスリーヒントクイズを作りなさい。また、CEFR A1 レベルのボキャブラリーを使って、例文を書きなさい。

Reduce:

Hint 1: To make something smaller or less in amount or degree.

Hint 2: To lower or decrease.

Hint 3: To make something simpler or easier to understand.

Sample sentence: The government wants to reduce pollution in the city.　　

Insignificant:

Hint 1: Not important or worth noticing.

Hint 2: Not having much effect or influence.

Hint 3: Too small to matter or make a difference.

Sample sentence: The mistake was insignificant and did not change the result.

Sufficient:

Hint 1: Enough to meet a need or requirement.

Hint 2: Adequate for a purpose.

Hint 3: Able to do something without any more help.

Sample sentence: I have sufficient money to buy the food I need.

Efficient:

Hint 1: Doing things in a way that uses the least time and effort.

Hint 2: Able to work well and produce good results.

Hint 3: Using the least amount of resources to get the job done.

Sample sentence: The new machine is more efficient and can make more things.

生徒はターゲットの単語以外の単語を知らない可能性もありますよね。その場合、アスタリスクをつけて、ヒントを書くこともできます。

Reduce:
